Back to indie and half-arsed sunshine.

Want to spend the day with special people walking somewhere like this and end up with a night at the pub. However, due to lack of funds on my part and effort on anyone elses, this will not be happening.

Uni soon, some of the people I thought a few months ago would be the people I'd miss the most seem to not really care if they see me or not before we all leave. Funny how times change... it happens I guess.

It's been a beautiful summer, all ended in the perfect way of getting into Manchester University :) still got about three weeks before I leave, but it's all creeping up way too quickly. Ridiculous amount of planning needs to take place, shopping for cooking equipment, clothes, stationary, learning to actually write legibly again, setting up a student bank account, etc, etc. All the things I have to do are swamping me completely... and as always there's the issue of money and not having any. Can't believe I'm gonna be leaving everyone either, that terrifies me completely, met some absolutely amazing people this summer and it's not gonna be enough time before I have to leave them. I have to survive on my own now haha.

Time to go down in flames and I'm taking you closer to the edge

Kavos was the best fucking week of my life, no doubt. Miss it and the people I met there so much, all everyone seems to be doing now is complaining on Facebook about how they want to be back there, and commenting on all the ridiculous pictures.

Did some stupid things over there, but it was definitely worth it for how funny everything was in the morning. I miss being able to hang out at the beach all day, pre-drink disgusting vodka on the balcony with everyone, dance down the street and on the tables of every single club or bar, go to the beach at about 5am, and always end up back at the hotel sitting outside with the strangest collection of people listening to Zoe's iPod speakers and suddenly realising it's 9 in the morning. Best holiday ever.

I've been waiting for so long for the summer, and now it's here... I don't know, I guess I thought it would be more. Feels like I need something to work towards, but right now it's the limbo between exams and results, I want life to move forward, there's too much on my mind and I wish I could ignore it.

On a happier note, Inception is an incredible film, the kind of film you spend hours thinking through afterwards, really enjoyed just getting lost in it. Would recommend everyone going to see it, it's basic enough just to enjoy the film, but then if you like thinking really far into things it's amazing.

Off to Kavos tomorrow, can't wait to have a really girly week, even though my liver will give up on me at some point very soon. Going to be so good being back in a hot sunny country :)

I miss New York so much!

New York was amazing, such a fucking good week, wish I could have stayed longer. Feels like a completely different world over there, and now I'm back to all the drama here. All my money is long gone, have no idea how I'm gonna pay for Kavos in a week. Don't know how certain situations are gonna pan out either, and I hate playing the waiting game, want to know where I stand right now.

And we all sit around here in our home town listen to the waves as they all crash down, and watch the fire as it slowly burns away, glowing embers fly

The last week has been, for the most part, ridiculous. Not sure what's going to happen with certain situations, but right now I have to try and forget about all of that. New York tomorrow :D and I'm going to let go of here and enjoy myself, and it's going to be incredible. Hoping dad's gonna let me take his Pentax camera, which is beautiful, but that might be asking too much.

Haven't blogged in a week, and realised that things I thought were affecting me have been completely ignored, and aren't any part of any problem anymore. Funny how much things can change in a week if you spend the majority of it off your face sitting in woods and fields and not sleeping.
